	Seniors on the Move, Mar 2012 GenPhilly gathered professionals from Philadelphia and surrounding areas to spark dialogue around access to transportation for older adults in the Greater Philadelphia Region.  more>>
	Intergenerational Vintage Dance, Sept 2011 GenPhilly invited dancers of all ages to come and get their swing on! Everyone enjoyed a fun filled evening of music, mingling, dancing and light refreshments. Free dance instruction was provided by Bob Skiba.more>>
	Celebrate Arts & Aging, May 2011 May is Older Americans Month and to show our support, GenPhilly participated in PCA’s Celebrate Arts & Aging, a month-long citywide event promoting creativity & aging. more>>
	CareerBoom: Job Security in an Aging Society, April 2011 GenPhilly members presented about organizations that incorporate seniors into their programs, policy, and planning and discussed how everyone can include the needs of the older population into their positions. more>>
	Germinating Partnerships: Connecting Seniors with Community Gardens, February 2011 GenPhilly invited professionals an afternoon of pizza and conversation at City Hall to discuss the need to bring together professionals who foster community gardens and those who work with older adults. more>>
	2nd Annual Holiday Happy Hour & Charity Drive, December 2010 GenPhilly invited young professionals to enjoy an evening of drinks, mingling and networking to help support Center in the Park’s homebound older adults. more>>
	Women & Aging: Image (R)evolution, September 2010 GenPhilly explored the often contradictory images about women & aging that are presented to us through the media, popular culture, and film. more>>
	Pet-tastic Happy Hour: Supporting Furry Companions of Homebound Seniors, July 2010GenPhilly and Delaware Valley Alzheimer’s Association Junior Committee organized a happy hour fundraiser at North Bowl in Northern Liberties to collect pet accessories for frail and isolated seniors. more>>
	JUNTO: Creating an Age-friendly Environment, June 2010GenPhilly was invited to “curate” a JUNTO to discuss issues we face as a society as a significant portion of our population ages. As a community, the better and more accessible we can make our environment for seniors, the better it will be for people of all ages. more>>
	Creativity & Aging, May 2010During the entire month of May, GenPhilly showed our support by attending exhibits and events that showcased artwork and performances by older adults. A few attended events included the Art is Ageless exhibit, The Arts for All Ages: A Creative Conversation discussion, and Celebrate Arts & Aging exhibits. more>>
	Careers for an Age-friendly Philadelphia, April 2010Discussion on how each profession, from community development, to the arts, law, social work, and more has the opportunity to touch the lives of older people and help our city become a lifelong community. more>>
	GenPhilly Took Center Stage at IGNITE Philly, March 2010 GenPhilly was invited to speak and be center stage at Johnny Brenda’s during IGNITE PHILLY 5. Kate Clark & Lauren Hood (two of GenPhilly’s founding members) were given 5 minutes in the spotlight to introduce our group and let people know about Age-friendly Philadelphia. 	Golden Years and Furry Ears: Linking Older Adults with Homeless Pets to Build a Better Philadelphia, February 2010GenPhilly hosted a panel of experts to discuss the mental and physical benefits pet ownership has for the elderly at NewCourtland’s Philadelphia Senior Center. more >>
