Social service agencies and community organizations are invited to a free training, “Weathering Winter’s Worst – Resources for Philadelphia’s Elderly,’ on Wednesday, November 17 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at PCA, 642 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia. Recent utility rate increases and a cold winter forecast may pose a financial hardship for many seniors. The training is co-sponsored by the Emergency Fund Coalition for Older Philadelphians and the PA Aging, Utilities and Economic Education Consortium to provide information on utility assistance programs and resources that are available to Philadelphia’s low-income older adults.

Register by November 9 to Allegra Chaney at PCA: 215-765-9000, ext. 4478 or achaney@pcaphl.org.
