TD Bank Grant :: Non-profit Training Resource Fund

The TD Charitable Foundation isĀ  supporting nonprofit professional development with a $200,000 funding pool for nonprofit organization education, training and other learning opportunities.

Grants are awarded to eligible organizations for employees to attend qualified classes/courses that will enhance their job performance.

Funding Opportunity: $50,000 Grants Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing

Applications are being sought for Excellence in Affordable Housing Awards for nonprofits. Four $50,000 grants will be awarded for exemplary leadership, innovation and quality service delivery in affordable senior housing. The grant program seeks to showcase models of excellence in the design, operation, and property management of affordable, green senior housing; to increase understanding of how to achieve success in providing high-quality independent living for seniors; and to share models and provide financial support for agencies that exhibit excellence in green and service-enriched independent senior housing.

Commonwealth 2010 Supportive Housing Award Honors Efforts that Help Residents Live Independently Nominate Someone Deserving Today!

Independent older adult smilingIndividuals and organizations that are creating quality housing opportunities for Pennsylvanians can be nominated for the Commonwealth’s 2010 Supportive Housing Award.

The award – sponsored by the Departments of Public Welfare and Aging and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency – recognizes significant efforts to increase the availability of supportive housing in Pennsylvania, which is defined as housing that is:

  • Safe and secure;
  • Affordable to its target population (not exceeding 30-percent of monthly household income);
  • Capable of coordinating readily available, flexible and responsive services in the community;
  • Accessible to older adults, those with disabilities and those with low incomes.
